The location from where this image was taken is a small platform at the top of a set of stairs. I imagined that it would be a highly-sort after vantage point for photographers, so I arrived early to set up my cameras so I could shoot the changing light from before sunset, through to the end of the blue hour.

It never ceases to amuse my wife and I, just how many people believe that if you are with a professional photographer (or someone who has all the equipment and looks the part), then you must also be a master of the craft. During the couple of hours that I was set up here, my wife was continuously handed smartphones by passers-by and asked to take their photos. If we charged a few dollars a shot, we could have nearly funded our next trip (or at least enjoyed a good meal later that night).
