Japan’s tallest building, Abeno Harukas, stands at 300m. This is the view up from the rooftop observatory.

From the ground, Abeno Harukas looks like many other skyscrapers. It's not until you visit Harukas 300, the three-tier observation deck on the 58th, 59th, and 60th floors, that you realise just how high 300m is. With 360° views of the expansive city of Osaka and views onto surrounding cities of Kobe and Kyoto, from this height, you can actually see the curvature of the planet (sorry Flat Earthers).

This image was captured from the observation deck. It's a view of the top of the building with the height and latitude/longitude markings painted onto the structure. That must be some of the highest sign-writing in the world!
